Bucky Oliver

Charles “Bucky” Oliver, II, Chairman, Founder and Treasurer

In 1961 Charles ‘Bucky’ Oliver decided to take flying lessons at RDU. He soon acquired a business on the field, operating the FBO Raleigh-Durham Aviation from 1962-1987. The company grew to over 100 employees and was an early operator of multiple Learjets in commercial operation. He began American Aircraft Leasing in 1987 and took on the Jetcraft name.

The company today is a leading worldwide business aviation enterprise, offering sales, brokerage, trades, acquisitions, inventory transactions, an alternative customized completions channel, and an avionics program. Bucky is responsible for strategic development and oversight of Jetcraft. He maintains key business relationships with banks, vendors, OEMs and service centers worldwide, and is an expert at assessing aircraft condition, values and markets. A type-rated pilot for Citation and Learjets, he has flown over 18,000 hours.

Jahid Fazal-Karim

Jahid Fazal-Karim, Co-owner and Board member

Jahid Fazal-Karim is shareholder and board member of Jetcraft. He joined the company in 2008 to undertake entrepreneurship and revitalize the organization upon leaving Bombardier Aerospace as Sr. Vice President of Business Jets worldwide sales, leading a team of over 100 sales staff and achieving record sales and increased market share. Previously with Airbus Industries of North America, he left as Vice President of Business Development and Asset Management. Jahid has an Aerospace Engineering degree from the French National Civil Aviation School in Toulouse and was awarded scholarship for his Masters degree in Air Transport Management at Cranfield University in the UK. He’s bilingual French and English.

Chad Anderson

Chad Anderson, President

Chad Anderson has overall sales and marketing responsibility, with specialties in transaction structuring, aviation finance and tax. Chad came to Jetcraft in 2005 from Bank of America Leasing (formerly Fleet Capital Corporation), where he was national asset manager and business development officer in the corporate aircraft finance division. He directed all aircraft asset marketing, operation, support, and management functions with special focus on finance, industry intelligence and market research. Chad also held positions at Regent Aviation and Cessna Finance Corporation, and was an aviation underwriter for American Eagle Insurance Company. Chad holds a B.B.A. in Aviation Administration from the University of North Dakota. He is also a Commercial Pilot (Single and Multi-Engine) with Certified Flight Instructor certification.

Peter Antonenko

Peter A. Antonenko, Executive Vice President

Since 2007, Peter Antonenko has served as in-house legal counsel on aircraft transactions and strategic alliances, in addition to overseeing general corporate operations. Prior to joining Jetcraft, Peter was an associate at a firm where he drafted and negotiated commercial and corporate aircraft purchase and lease agreements for lenders and buyers. He also advised clients concerning litigation strategy, corporate aircraft transactions, and business formation. Peter received his J.D. from Creighton University School of Law in Omaha, with concentration in business, taxation and commercial transactions. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Dakota.

Anne Behrend

Anne Behrend, Controller

Anne Behrend has been with Jetcraft since 1996. She is responsible for State and Federal tax law compliance, and recently implemented a new state of the art accounting system to meet company growth needs going forward. She also designed and implemented an interactive financial reporting system for the company specifically to meet the unique needs of the aircraft transaction process. Anne is active in the NBAA annual tax conferences. She is a graduate of the State University of New York at Binghamton, where she studied mathematics and business administration. Prior to joining Jetcraft, Anne was an accounting and financial reporting consultant.

Ken Elliott

Ken Elliott, Vice President, Avionics Systems

Ken Elliott joined Jetcraft in 2007 with a 40+ year background in avionics systems including repair, modification, flight test, certification, documentation, sales and training. At Jetcraft, Ken has developed the HUD Vision Access product program of distributorship for a new enhanced flight vision system (EFVS) for aftermarket business aircraft. He also works with the aviation community to promote and educate key individuals on EFVS systems. Ken served in the British Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm where he gained his early avionics training and education. He began his civilian aviation career at CSE Aircraft Sales in Oxford, U.K. In the US since 1990, Ken was formerly with Garrett Aviation (now Standard Aero) and ElectroSonics, holding executive positions in avionics, sales and customer support. Ken holds Six Sigma green belt certification and is active in the AEA, NBAA, FAA’s NextGen NACSC, RTCA 213 and chairman of SAE’s G20 Airport Lighting committee. He has also held positions with MRO’s in the Sultanate of Oman, Kenya, and South Africa.

Victoria Barrow

Victoria Barrow, Vice President Sales

Victoria Barrow is sales vice president at Jetcraft Corporation, a position she has held since 2004. Victoria joined the company in 1995, and previously held posts as a research specialist and sales associate. Prior to joining Jetcraft, Victoria was an aviation researcher for North America and Europe working on targeted sales and marketing campaigns and coordinating brokerage agreements. Victoria graduated from Georgetown University School of Languages and Linguistics with a B.S. in languages. In addition to English, she speaks French and German.

Chris Brenner

Chris Brenner, Sales Director

Chris Brenner is a sales director for Jetcraft on the international sales team. He joined the company in 2007, and previously held positions as sales and marketing coordinator and aircraft sales engineer for the company. Chris is a commercial pilot with single and multi-engine instrument ratings. He is a graduate of the University of North Dakota.

Dan Dunn

Dan Dunn, Vice President Sales

Dan Dunn has over 15 years of experience in business aviation. He is a former Vice President of a large Part 135 charter and management company, and was a Bombardier fleet manager for another large135 operator. Dan has held various maintenance management positions and has been a flight engineer and services training manager. He is a U.S. Air Force veteran and trainer, with certificates in aviation safety and maintenance. Dan holds an FAA A&P license and is factory trained on eight corporate aircraft including Bombardier, Boeing, and Gulfstream types with extensive avionics, engine, and training experience. He holds a degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix.

Dick Edwards

Dick Edwards, Vice President Sales

With over 35 years of experience in business aviation, Dick Edwards is an industry veteran. As a transaction specialist, he concentrates in both domestic and international corporate aviation. He formerly headed his own company, Edwards Aircraft Sales.

Chris Hollingsworth

Chris Hollingsworth, Sales Director

Chris Hollingsworth brings 12 years of business aviation experience to Jetcraft. He specializes in international and domestic business aviation. Chris formerly held the position of regional sales manager at Gulfstream Aerospace. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in business management with a concentration in finance from North Carolina State University.

Scott Ritchie

Scott Ritchie, Vice President Sales

Scott Ritchie is a transaction specialist with over 19 years in business aviation. He has held previous positions at Midwest Aviation Center, Phoenix Aviation, Thunder Aviation, JetBrokers, Inc. Part 135 and Part 145 Operations, in positions of Vice President of Operations, Vice President of Sales, and General Manager. Scott is a licensed A&P mechanic who has been a Part 135 Director of Maintenance, Part 145 General Manager, and Maintenance and Operations Consultant.

Mikhail Goloviznin

Mikhail Goloviznin, Sales Director – Russia

Mikhail Goloviznin is charged with developing Jetcraft business in the Commonwealth of Independent States. He was formerly a manager in the Commercial Department of Vnukovo-3, and sales manager of Jet Trading Group. He is a graduate of Moscow State University.

Mike Cappuccitti

Mike Cappuccitti, Sales Representative, Dubai

Mike Cappuccitti is a 40+ business aviation veteran, with over 20 years in business aircraft sales. For 10 years with Bombardier, Mike was responsible for sales in Africa, the Middle East and India, first based in the UK and later in Dubai, where he was Regional Vice President for Business Aircraft Sales. Educated at St. Joseph’s College in England, Mike is a former military pilot, instructor and examiner in the Royal Air Force. He has also been involved in selling luxury yachts in Dubai. In 2007 he formed Project Phoenix Ltd. in Dubai, a private aviation transactions company.

Nick Mossa

Nick Mossa, Sales Representative, Dubai

Nick Mossa has over 15 years of international business aviation experience. He joined Bombardier Aerospace in 1992 starting in the Industrial Engineering Division. He later held positions in the proposal center, marketing information group and sales. His aviation sales positions include Sales Director at Execujet Middle East, and with Bombardier Skyjet covering the Middle East, India and Pakistan. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada.

David Dixon

David Dixon, President, Jetcraft Asia

David Dixon is President of Jetcraft Asia with responsibility for the overall direction of sales in the region. He joined Jetcraft to develop the emerging Asian market following a long and successful career at Bombardier Aerospace as Regional Vice-President, Asia. Originally from the UK, he has lived in the region for over 30 years and has nearly 40 years experience in the aerospace industry. His extensive aviation career has involved selling leading models of commercial and business aircraft across Africa, India and Asia, including Australia. In 1978 he was awarded the “Member of the Order of the British Empire” (MBE) distinction by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth for his extensive contribution to British exports. He is currently Vice-Chairman of the Asian Business Aviation Association (AsBAA).

Queenie So, Client Relations and Marketing Manager

Queenie So is responsible for marketing in Asia office and supports the Vice President Sales with client relationship management.  She also helps with event organizing and coordination and takes care of administrative activities in the Asia office.  She is a graduate of the HK Polytechnic University.

Christie Martin-Gray

Christie Martin-Gray, Director of Marketing

Christie Martin-Gray was formerly principal and president of Martin Design + Marketing, an award-winning advertising and design firm. After providing advertising and marketing services to Jetcraft for six years, she joined the company in 2010. Christie brings nearly 30 years of experience to Jetcraft, where she oversees company branding and marketing. She holds a B.A. from Wake Forest University.

Luisa Martins

Luisa Martins, Director of International Market Development

Luisa Martins supports Jetcraft’s executive team and sales team with international brokerage services. She also helps coordinate international trade shows for Jetcraft and participates in media events. Luisa has an international background in manufacturing and strategic business and partnership development. She is a graduate of the University of South Africa and is multilingual in Italian, Portuguese and basic French.

Bethany Purney

Bethany Purney, Sales Engineer

Bethany Purney is a sales engineer at Jetcraft, supporting the executive team with client relationship management, technical aircraft evaluations, proposal creation, aircraft market analyses and valuation reports. Previously, Bethany was with Key Air in Oxford, CT as customer service manager for the New York metro area, and also held sales and marketing associate positions. She is a graduate of the University of Connecticut with a bachelor’s in business administration.

John Schwartz, Sales Engineer

John Schwartz supports the sales and executive teams with client relationship management, technical aircraft evaluations, proposal creation, market analyses and valuation reports. Previously, John was an account executive at Wings Insurance, and a risk consultant at Federated Insurance of San Diego. A certified line technician, John has also worked for Regent Aviation. He holds a bachelor’s in business administration from the University of North Dakota, and a commercial pilot certificate with instrument and multi-engine ratings.

Denise Siedow

Denise Siedow, Executive Assistant/Marketing Coordinator

Denise Siedow is executive assistant to the president of Jetcraft, in addition to administering office management and reception in the Minneapolis office. She also supports the director of marketing with project management, and oversees all e-broadcasts. Denise holds a B.S. in marketing and management from St. Catherine University in St. Paul.

Emily Synan

Emily Synan, Production Artist / Marketing Assistant

Emily Synan assists with project management and graphic design for advertisements, collateral materials and electronic media. Emily has previously held positions as a graphic artist, campaign communications director and editor. She studied Mass Communications with a specific focus in journalism at Barton College.

Cara Van Dell

Cara Van Dell, Transaction Manager

Cara Van Dell is a transaction specialist based in Minneapolis. She has seven years in business aviation, and was formerly an aviation transaction manager with Fafinski Mark & Johnson, P.A. handling all aspects of the aircraft purchase and sale process. She holds a B.S. in Aviation Management from St. Cloud State University, and is a member of Women in Aviation International.

Lucy Castle

Lucy Castle, Administrative Director

Lucy Castle is responsible for directing overall office operations at Jetcraft. She also offers support to the executive team, sales staff and marketing director. Lucy oversees special projects and helps plan and coordinate events. Her administrative duties include accounts receivable and payable, and new employee orientation. She holds a B.A. degree from Elon College.

Patty Gioconda

Patty Gioconda, Senior Admin / Travel Coordinator

Patty Gioconda is responsible for administrative activities in the headquarters office. She provides support to the executive team and sales staff, handles travel and logistics scheduling and coordination, and oversees reception and customer service. She also assists in event planning and organizing. Patty serves as liaison to IT services, and coordinates pilot schedules for the company.

Watts Ward

Watts Ward, Technical Advisor

Watts Ward provides technical oversight, coordination and routine maintenance at Jetcraft’s flight operations center. He performs inspections, technical support and special project consulting on certain transactions. Watts was formerly with the flight department of GTE South.
