Cessna Citation Longitude Overview (2012 – Present)

Product Overview

The Citation Longitude is the largest Citation model to date. Its flat floor, stand-up cabin utilizes the same cross- section as the Citation Latitude but lengthened the cabin by 41 inches.

As of February 2025, 3.91% of Citation Longitude ownership comes from the pre-owned market, the other 96.01% from new. 2.34% of those are currently for sale, with 33.33% under an exclusive broker agreement. For those on the market, the average sale time is 70 days.

Brief History

The Citation Longitude was introduced in May 2012 at EBACE. The first flight was October 8, 2016. It offers the same clean sheet fuselage cross section as the smaller Citation Latitude but is much larger and features an all-new gently swept wing with winglets. The production started in 2018, 139 airplanes where build.

Worldwide Appeal

There are 128 Citation Longitude aircraft in operation worldwide. The majority of those (58.89%) are fractionally owned and the remaining 41.41% are wholly owned. North America has the largest percentage of wholly owned Citation Longitude aircraft (95.31%), followed by Mid. East Africa (1,56%) and Asia (1,56%). Net Jets owns the largest fleet of Citation Longitude aircraft with 74.

Two HTF7700L engines power the Citation Longitude, each offering x (couldn’t find this)  pounds of thrust and using 316 gallons per hour (GPH). The range of the Longitude is 3,` nm operating with 8 passengers and max payload.
