The Falcon 7X is a fly-by-wire ultra-long range business jet with a new wing design including winglets. The Falcon 7X will fly faster, farther and higher than any of its predecessor Falcon aircraft ever built. The Falcon 7X is surprisingly similar to the 900EX, but longer by 10 feet.
As of March 2014, the Falcon 7X market is comprised of 11% pre-owned. The percentage for sale is 5.6% with 83% of that under an exclusive broker agreement and average days on the market are 204 days.
Brief History
It was first presented to the public at the 2005 Paris Air Show. Dassault Falcon 7X received the Type Certificate in April 2007 from the FAA and EASA.
Worldwide Appeal
There are currently 215 Falcon 7X aircraft in operation worldwide with 209 of those wholly owned and 4 in shared and 2 in fractional ownership. Of the 209 wholly owned Falcon 7X aircraft in operation by continent, Europe has the largest percentage at 43%, followed by North America at 30% and Asia at 170% for a combined total of 90%. Also, 44% of the 215 Falcon 7X jets in operation today are in fleet ownership with the largest fleet operator (Global Jet & Jet Aviation) having 6 aircraft each. Additionally, 8% of the Falcon 7X jets are leased.

Three Pratt & Whitney PW307A engines power the new Falcon 7X and are rated at 6,402 lbs of thrust each. The F7X uses 318 gallon per hour (GPH). They are responsible for the 5,740 nautical-mile range with 8 passengers plus 3 crew.

The Falcon 7X cabin has 1,552 cubic feet of cabin volume plus 140 cubic feet of baggage space. Maximum seating configuration features 12 passenger and 3 crew seats.

Avionics
The Falcon 7X is equipped with an integrated Honeywell Primus Epic EASy II EFIS avionics suite. It features four, large-format LCD screens and integrated navigation functions (high-definition terrain displays and graphic flight planning).
