How long have you been at Jetcraft?

I have been at Jetcraft for almost 12 years.  I started as a part-time Receptionist and my position has evolved into what it is. I have loved every minute of being a Jetcraft Team Member.

What are your responsibilities within the global Jetcraft team?

I am still the Receptionist, and the Sr. Administrative Assistant.  I also am the Travel Coordinator for the company, which includes planning and coordinating the logistics for our many events and shows.

Describe a typical day or week in your role.

A typical day in my role, is never typical. There is always a new place that the Salesperson is going to, and I make sure to get them to their destination.  Sometimes there is a new show that needs hotel bookings, or static Display forms to be updated.  My position is a lot of managing priorities, depending on what is of today’s urgency.

What do you love most about your job?

Meeting people, whether it be on the phone or in person, and meeting the deadline with a show.  I love an extremely busy and crazy day.

Describe the company culture at Jetcraft and what it means to you?

To me, the company culture is FAMILY!  Each of us has a way of helping the other person out when we need it.  We work very hard at Jetcraft and our company is extremely proud of our work force and its way of doing business.  We truly are Trust, Will & Teamwork oriented.

What do you want your customers to experience when dealing with Jetcraft?

All of the above.  I want people who meet us to come away thinking “that is the best Company I have dealt with, and I intend to pass it on”.

Who or what has been your greatest professional influence?

I have three people that have influenced me over my lifetime:

My Father/My Mother – I am one of nine children and my Father always worked, sometimes 2 jobs to be sure all was paid for, and we had food and even a vacation each summer.  I remember once when I was a kid, my Father lost his job and within days he had another, his work ethic was commendable and a life-lasting memory.  I have to mention my mother as well, she stayed at home with all nine of us kids and with the money my Father made, she made it work, not to mention she instilled in me how important family is.

My Husband – Ever since I met my husband, he has always gone after the positions he wanted, and most of them he has gotten.  I admire him because he has taken positions that have taken him away from our family for periods of time, but that way our children and myself did not have to move from our home.  He is to be commended, and I now see the same work ethic in our children.

Finally, what is your hidden talent or hobby?

I am a massive Philadelphia Eagles Fan.  My favorite Sunday’s are the ones when we get to watch the Eagles on TV…if they win, it’s even better—that makes a great Sunday!
