Logan Hansen, former Jetcraft Sales Engineer
Location: Minneapolis, MN, US
How long have you been at Jetcraft?
I have been with Jetcraft since July 2019. However, prior to that, I was a summer intern in 2017.
What are your responsibilities within the global Jetcraft team?
I directly support three sales directors in North America with various tasks such as market overviews, valuations, and anything that they need help with to support our clients and move a deal forward.
Describe a typical day or week in your role.
During the pandemic, my typical day has shifted more to a remote role, but my general process remains the same. My day must start by making a cup of freshly ground pour-over coffee or else I will have a serious case of the morning grumpys. After that, I try to layout my day to figure out what needs to get accomplished to stay ahead of any deals that are progressing, followed by responding to calls and emails. After my workday has concluded, I work out with my preference towards lifting weights.
What do you love most about your job?
I get to interact with people from all walks of life. Every interaction in this industry is different and unique. It is fun to get to meet and work with such a broad range of people from around the world.
Describe the company culture at Jetcraft and what it means to you?
It means a lot to me as a fresh college graduate that I was able to join an industry where everyone is supportive and appreciative of everything that I do. The company is really like a family and I really appreciate how everyone works together and supports each other.
What do you want your customers to experience when dealing with Jetcraft?
We want customers not to just feel like another customer, but we want them to feel like a part of the family and to feel like we have met their individual needs and desires.
Who or what has been your greatest professional influence?
My greatest professional influence has been my father. He went to Iowa State, and from that he worked his way up from a bank teller into a very prestigious role. Through all of that, he taught me to stay humble, always be honest, and be the hardest worker that I can be. I really appreciate those values that he instilled in me.
Describe yourself in 3 words.
Charismatic, goofy, honest.
If you were to buy a business jet, which aircraft would suit your needs and why?
If I was going to buy a business jet, I would purchase a Bombardier Challenger 350. I love that the challenger 350 has the latest and greatest technology/safety features with a max range of 3,200 nm to allow me to go wherever I would need to go. As well as the cabin height would be perfect for me as someone who stands about 6 feet tall.
What stands out to you as good customer service?
We don’t want the customers to feel like we’re just doing our job, we want them to feel valued and to know that we at Jetcraft are willing to go above and beyond. It doesn’t matter how small the task is; good customer service is going above and beyond the expectations.
Finally, what is your hidden talent or hobby?
My dog and I like to go paddle boarding at my family’s cabin in Northern Minnesota. It is a lot of fun because my dog is a 60lb goldendoodle that is very good at balancing on the board with me.
