Ganesh Vedarattiname, Manager of Strategic Initiatives
Location: London, United Kingdom

How long have you been at Jetcraft?

I have been with Jetcraft since August 2019. Prior to that, I was a summer intern in 2016.

What are your responsibilities within the global Jetcraft team?

I support the management team on various strategic projects, ranging from transaction analysis to corporate development. I also help the sales team on streamlining sales engineering tasks and improving sales processes.

Describe a typical day or week in your role.

I start the day checking on my emails and supporting potential urgent requests from the management, marketing, or sales team. Then I focus on longer term initiatives like building strategic presentations, pushing company digitalization, or exploring growth opportunities. My work involves a lot of data collection and modeling, but I also regularly liaise with internal as well as external stakeholders to drive projects forward.

What do you love most about your job?

I enjoy the thinking process related to strategic projects. It’s like solving a puzzle: you first try out a few ideas, then start uncovering the big picture and in the end, everything makes sense.

Describe the company culture at Jetcraft and what it means to you?

Jetcraft really has an entrepreneurial culture. From new ideas to implementation, the company stimulates its employees to develop initiatives that would push the firm forward. I believe this mindset brings the best out of everyone and makes Jetcraft an exciting workplace.

What do you want your customers to experience when dealing with Jetcraft?

A smooth transaction process from end to end, handled by knowledgeable and solution driven professionals.

Who or what has been your greatest professional influence?

My parents have been my greatest influence. My father gave me ambition and determination and my mother showed me the importance of being a good listener.

Describe yourself in 3 words.

Curious, logical, hardworking.

What stands out to you as good customer service?

I feel it’s the ability to put yourself into the client’s shoes. This enables you to better understand the customer’s requirements, anticipate needs, and ultimately provide the client with a smooth and enjoyable experience.

Finally, what is your hidden talent or hobby?

I’m a foodie. From street food to fine dining, I really enjoy the experience. By appealing to all senses, it triggers strong emotions and sometimes brings back memories. I can’t wait for restaurants to reopen in London!
