Brief history
The Embraer Lineage 1000 is a variant of the Embraer E190 regional jet, which was launched in 2006. It was specifically developed to cater to the ultra-large executive jet market. Embraer began production of the Lineage 1000 in 2008, and the first aircraft was delivered in May 2009. The Lineage 1000 features include a modified fuselage, extended range, and a luxurious interior suitable for VIP and executive travel. Production of this model was later stopped in 2013. The aircraft was upgraded to the Lineage 1000E model and was later discontinued in 2019.
Worldwide appeal
A total of 14 Lineage 1000E aircraft were produced by Embraer with the majority of those still in operation today. 7.1% of those are for sale. North America has the largest percentage of wholly owned Lineage 1000 aircraft with 43%, followed by Western Europe with 29%. Hamburg owns the largest fleet of Lineage 1000E aircraft with 8 jets.
