Gulfstream G700 Overview (2019 – Present)

Product Overview

Gulfstream Aerospace officially unveiled the G700 at the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Convention & Exhibition in Las Vegas in 2019. The G700 was announced as the company’s new flagship aircraft, designed to push the boundaries of speed, range, and cabin comfort in the business jet market.

As of August 2024, 12% of the Gulfstream G700 aircraft were purchased new by their current owners with 87% still yet to deliver. None of the aircraft are currently for sale or under any exclusive brokerage agreement.

Brief History

The production of G700 started in 2019. In 2020 the G700 took its maiden flight from Gulfstream’s headquarters in Savannah, Georgia. As of March 2024, the G700 received certification from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), with deliveries to customers beginning soon after.

Worldwide appeal

There are 11 Gulfstream G700 business jets in operation worldwide. The Middle East/Africa has the largest percentage of G700 aircraft (45.45%), followed by North America (27.27%). TVPX Aircraft Solution Inc. (Trustee) owns the largest fleet of G700 aircraft with 4 followed by Qatar Airways with 3.

Interior

The G700 boasts a spacious and flexible interior with twenty Gulfstream Panoramic Oval Windows. It seats up to 19 passengers and sleep up to 13. Design your cabin with up to five living areas, including the all-new ultra galley and a grand suite with optional shower, to create your ideal flight experience. The cabin also features a high-definition circadian lighting system designed to reduce jet lag.

Performance

Two Rolls-Royce Pearl 700 engines power the G700 each offering 81.20kN of take-off thrust.  The maximum range of the Gulfstream G700 is 7,750nm.
