On November 6^th, Jetcraft was named Best Aircraft Brokerage by AsBAA during their inaugural Business Aviation Industry Awards Charity Gala Dinner.  The winners were determined by industry votes.

Product Overview

The Learjet 60XR, a mid-size cabin, medium-range business jet aircraft, is the largest of the Learjet family with new fuel-efficient engines, a wider, stretched fuselage, and a glass cockpit. Thrust reversers and single-point refueling are also standard equipment, and the aircraft features a full galley, together with an aft lav.

The Learjet 60XR fleet is evenly split in terms of whether they were purchased new or pre-owned. As of August 2015, 51% of the Learjet 60XR aircraft were purchased pre-owned by the current owners, the other 49%, new. 12.3% are currently for sale with the majority of those (71%) under an exclusive broker agreement. When for sale, the average number of days a Learjet 60XR remains on the market is 478.

Jetcraft’s first-ever business aviation market forecast (free to download here) projects North American dominance of the global market throughout the coming decade. As the infographic above shows, aircraft deliveries to customers in North America are forecast to outpace the rest of the world combined, with 54% of the market.

Key analysis:

Our forecast is a bit different than some of the other business aviation market forecasts. Other forecasts are more optimistic about performance outside of North America, with many predicting deliveries from the rest of the world between 60-65% throughout the next 10 years. Jetcraft’s forecast sees North America leading the way, outperforming the rest of the world combined through 2024.

How long have you been at Jetcraft?

I joined the Jetcraft team in January 2015 as the President of Jetcraft Commercial.

What are your responsibilities within the global Jetcraft team?

I am the focal point of anything related to commercial aircraft activity within the Jetcraft group. My focus is on aircraft that are for passenger service, not designated to be a VIP service. I work mainly with airlines and occasionally with corporations or on aircraft for military application.

I help customers and financiers (lessors or banks) to sell inventory that they have and to acquire inventory that they need.

My role is to facilitate transactions that meet the requirements and satisfy our customers, both buyers and sellers, and remains consistent with the high level of service that Jetcraft has extended to its existing customer base over the last 54 years.
