The Cessna CJ1 model is classified in the Light Jet category with six seats and an enclosed lavatory. The Citation CJ1 improved upon the original CitationJet with an updated EFIS avionics suite and an increased maximum takeoff weight. The CJ1 can be single-pilot operated.

Brief History

The original CitationJet (model 525) had its first flight in 1991 with FAA Certification in 1992 and then the first delivery in 1993. The Citation CJ1 was the second aircraft in the CitationJet/CJ series which replaced the original model CitationJet (CJ). It began production in 2000 and ended manufacturing in 2005. During that time, a total of 198 aircraft were produced with all but three currently in operation.

Product Overview

The Hawker 800XP is a variant/replacement of the Hawker 800A/800B. It offers improved payload capabilities, enhanced performance, and updated systems. The uprated engines of the Hawker 800XP provide greater thrust and lower specific fuel consumption. It also offers enhanced aerodynamics, increased weight, and system upgrades on preceding models.  This aircraft is RVSM certified from the factory after serial number 258359 or after required service bulletins.                             

As of June 2020, 90% of Hawker 800XP aircraft were purchased pre-owned by their current owners, the other 10% new. 14.6% are for sale with the majority of those (83%) under an exclusive broker agreement. When for sale the average time on the market is 292 days.

Brief History

The Hawker 800XP is a derivative from the design of the UK-built de Havilland/Hawker Siddely, and British Aerospace 125 that was first built in 1962. The HS.125 evolved into the Series 400 through 800 and was produced until 1993 when Raytheon purchased the Series 800 program and the aircraft was renamed the Hawker 800. The Hawker 800XP entered service in 1995 after production of the Hawker 800 model ended production. Production of the 800XP ended in 2005 After a total of 426 deliveries, of which 29 have been retired.

Product Overview

The Challenger 350 is a super mid-size business jet offering transcontinental range and a ten-passenger cabin configuration. An upgraded variant of the Challenger 300, this improved model offers greater engine thrust, new winglets, a different interior with 20% larger windows, and new avionics.

As of May 2020, 9% of Challenger 350 aircraft were purchased pre-owned by their current owners, the other 91% new. 3.5% are for sale with half of those (58%) under an exclusive broker agreement. When for sale the average time on the market is 156 days.

Brief History

The Bombardier Challenger 350 first flew in March 2013 and shortly thereafter (May) was unveiled at EBACE.  Transport Canada and the FAA granted certification in June 2014, and EASA in September 2014.

A total of 355 Challenger 350 business jets have been built with 1 retired, and 10 at the manufacturer.

Product Overview

The Gulfstream G200 (formerly known as the Galaxy 1126) is a super-midsize medium-range twin-turbofan corporate jet.

As of May 2020, 84% of Gulfstream G200 aircraft were purchased pre-owned by their current owner, the other 16% new. 11.6% are for sale with the majority of those (89%) under an exclusive broker agreement. When for sale the average time on the market is 224 days.

Brief History

Originally named Astra Galaxy, the G200 began as a product of Israel Aircraft Industries’ subsidiary Galaxy Aerospace Inc. Design of the Galaxy model first began in the late 1980’s. The first flight took place on December 25, 1997 and it received certification one year later from the US and Israeli aviation agencies. The Galaxy was renamed “G200” after Gulfstream Aerospace acquired Galaxy Aerospace in June 2001, 2 years after deliveries began. Production ended in 2011 with a total of 250 deliveries of which nine have been retired.

Product Overview

The Legacy 450 is a mid-size business jet, filling the gap between Embraer’s smaller Phenom aircraft and the larger Legacy 500 and 650 models. The Legacy 450 has a shorter cabin length (24ft vs. 27.5ft) and a smaller cabin volume (705cu. ft. vs. 823cu. ft.) than the Legacy 500.

As of February 2020, 14% of Legacy 450 aircraft were purchased pre-owned by their current owner, the other 86% new. 3.4% are for sale with all of those under an exclusive broker agreement. When for sale the average time on the market is 102 days.

Brief History

The Legacy 500 and Legacy 450 were announced by Embraer in April 2008. Both models were to be the first of their size with a flat-floor stand-up cabin and fly-by-wire. The Legacy 450’s first flight occurred in December 2013. Brazilian certification and FAA certification came in August 2015 with the first delivery following on 22 December 2015. Embraer increased the range of the Legacy 450 shortly after the first delivery, with a retrofit kit now available for the early build aircraft.

There are 59 Legacy 450 business jets in operation today. The majority of these are wholly owned (35), with 3 in shared ownership and 21 in fractional ownership. 9 are currently leased with 8 of those leased by fractional provider Flexjet. Product Overview

The Global 6500 ultra-long-range business jet gives new life to Bombardier’s Global 6000 series with a re-designed wing, new flight deck features, and a high comfort cabin. The new Rolls-Royce Pearl 15 engines achieve an estimated range of 6,600 nautical miles and a top speed of Mach 0.9. The Global 6500 business jet features Bombardier’s Vision flight deck, which integrates four large display screens, a head-up display (HUD) and a combined vision system (CVS).

The aircraft is also equipped with high-speed SATCOM, graphical flight planning systems, an airport moving map (AMM) and Multi-Scan weather radar. It is integrated with the latest performance-based navigational aids, including a wide-area augmentation system (WAAS), localiser performance with vertical guidance (LPV) and area navigation (RNAV) systems,  en-route required navigation performance (RNP), RNP authorisation required (AR) approaches and controller pilot data link communication (CPDLC).

As of March 2020, only one Global 6500 is in operation and it is registered in the Cayman Islands. One delivery position is for sale with the order holder in the Virgin Islands.

Brief History

The Global 6500 is a new member of the Global family of business jets. The aircraft took its first flight on Jan. 31, 2018, received type certification in September 2019 from Transport Canada, and received FAA certification in December 2019.

There have been 19 Global 6500 business jets built, one is in operation while 17 have a Certificate of Airworthiness and are at the manufacturer waiting to be completed. One Global 6500 is currently in production.

The Embraer Legacy 600 is a business jet derivative of the Embraer ERJ 145 family of commercial regional jet aircraft. The Legacy 600 is considered a “Super Midsize” category aircraft offering a three-zone cabin, a large aft lavatory with two windows and a 240 cu ft aft baggage compartment.

As of December 2019, 71% of Legacy 600 aircraft were purchased pre-owned by their current owner, the other 29% new. 8.6% are for sale with the majority of those (93%) under an exclusive broker agreement. When for sale the average time on the market is 370 days.

Brief History

The Legacy 600 was first introduced in 2000 at the Farnborough Airshow. JAA certification came in August 2002 and FAA certification followed soon after. The model was originally announced as the “Legacy 2000” and the model name “Legacy 600” was not adopted until 2005. Production ended in 2015 with a total of 175 Legacy 600 aircraft built. One has retired.

Brief History

The first delivery of the Cessna Citation CJ2 occurred in 2000 and the series ended production in 2006. A total of 243 Citation CJ2 aircraft were built with 7 retired. The CJ2+ was the follow-on aircraft that started production in 2005 and ended in 2016.

Product Overview

The Challenger 604 is a super mid-sized class aircraft introduced as a major upgrade to the Challenger 601 design. This updated model incorporated more powerful engines, larger fuel supply, completely new undercarriage, structural improvements to wings and tail, and a new electronic flight instrumentation system. The Challenger 604 is a longer-range derivative of the 601-3R with a larger fuel capacity and upgraded engines.

Brief History

The Challenger 604 started deliveries in 1995 when it replaced the Challenger 601 and was one of the first business jet designs with a super-critical wing. Several variants of the Challenger 604 have been manufactured to meet demanding missions of various military entities around the world. A total of 365 Challenger 604 business jets have been built with 10 retired.
