How long have you been at your current organization?

Being the founder of Sino Jet Management, I have been here for 11 years.

What are your responsibilities within your organization?

I am responsible for providing strategic, financial and operational leadership for the company and closely coordinate and work with the Board of Directors and senior leadership team.

Describe a typical day or week in your role.

As soon as I wake up, I check my WeChat messages and email, then I set priorities for the day’s work and assign job tasks to the related personnel. Getting phone calls from clients or business partners to maintain good relationships with them, receiving charter or aircraft acquisition requests from clients or their referrals.

Preston Jasper, Sales Manager, Jetcraft

How long have you been at Jetcraft?

I started at Jetcraft in 2019 and recently transitioned to become a Sales Manager.

What are your responsibilities within the global Jetcraft team?

As the U.S. Sales Manager I spend my time drumming up activity, creating opportunities, finding new clients, and trying to communicate the value that Jetcraft has to offer.

Describe a typical day or week in your role.

Everything that I do in a given week is geared toward try to get deals done – created, finished, perfectly transacted. Whether a client is buying an aircraft or selling an aircraft, I am doing my best to represent them to our fullest ability and creating a smooth transaction for both parties.

How long have you been working with Jetcraft?

I have been doing aircraft photography for Jetcraft since 2008.

What are your responsibilities within your organization/describe what your company does for Jetcraft?

I provide visual representation of their aircraft listings, both photos and videos, for their marketing materials.

Describe a typical day or week in your role.

A typical day for me would be to complete photo edits from previous photo shoots, answer emails, schedule travel and prep equipment for upcoming shoots.  Weather and aircraft schedules also play a big part in planning.  Years ago shoots were much easier, as now we have to deal with so many new airport restrictions/regulations in that many airports now require photo permits.

Jack Lau, Sales Engineer, Jetcraft
Location: Hong Kong

How long have you been at Jetcraft?

I have been with Jetcraft since March 2018, so it has been over 3 and half years now.

What are your responsibilities within the global Jetcraft team?

I primarily support David Dixon and Joanna Kwong as their Sales Engineer in our Hong Kong office by generating specs, aircraft valuation analysis, coordinating with the marketing team, viewing aircraft, reviewing records, or creating thoughtful presentations for them to use. I do all we can to support my Sales Directors in helping them complete more transactions.

Describe a typical day or week in your role.

There is no typical day or week! Some days I am in my office replying to e-mails, valuing aircraft, or generating specs. Some days I am hopping from hangar to hangar reviewing aircraft conditions, reviewing records, and tracking PPIs.

What do you love most about your job?

I really enjoy the different challenges daily. No task is the same, no day is the same, no aircraft is the same, and no client is the same.

Marc Meloche, Managing Director of Aviation Finance, Jetcraft Commercial Division

How long have you been at Jetcraft?

I joined Jetcraft, as Managing Director, Aviation Finance in November 2018, following a career in aviation finance with Bombardier Aerospace overseeing both business and commercial aircraft.

What are your responsibilities within the global Jetcraft team?

My responsibilities are to identify and secure financing in support of our aircraft activities, including warehouse financing to maximize trading and leasing opportunities.  In addition, I look to ensure that the operators have secured adequate financial support.

While the focus is for our commercial aircraft growth, I can also rely on my banking relationships to facilitate the business aircraft side, when required.

Samantha Parkhouse, Marketing Manager

How long have you been at Jetcraft?

I joined the Jetcraft team in May 2021, so it has been 4 months.

What are your responsibilities within the global Jetcraft team?

As the Marketing Manager for Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA), I support the Sales Teams in those regions by developing an integrated marketing plan including events, partnerships and sponsorships, public relations, advertising, and marketing communications.

Describe a typical day or week in your role.

Every region has different initiatives therefore my role can be very varied day to day, from organising our presence at the Monaco Yacht Show, to coordinating our print advertising campaigns running in Africa, to managing our partnerships and sponsorships with high profile sportsmen such as an F1 driver. I am based in our London office, however, my role requires a fair bit of traveling, beginning with a trip to Monaco this month.

Peter Windsor, Clarksport Ltd

How long have you been at your current organization?

Well, I’ve been working in F1 since 1972, so I guess you can trace my company back to that point.  Clarksport Ltd was actually formed and owned by Jim Clark, the brilliant Scot who won two F1 World Championships.  I met Jim a couple of times before he sadly passed away in 1968 so when it was time to set up my own company, in 1999, I looked around for Clarksport Ltd.  Amazingly, it was sitting there on a shelf, awaiting a new owner.  As it happens, I also own one of Jim’s road cars – a yellow Lotus Elan S3 coupe.

What are your responsibilities within your organization?

I work in F1 media mainly as a racing journalist. I have a YouTube Channel and also a big new F1 project that has to remain a secret right now. I attend F1 races and other events when I can and produce content analyzing the races and the drivers. At present, in the Covid era, obviously I’m spending less time on the road.  Either way, I always ensure that I’m in decent wifi/cell zones and usually have at least two computers and two cell phones with me: one computer for writing, one for video editing, a phone for general use and a phone for quick editing/recording. On top of that, I usually carry a Sony camera with me, plus a sound system. We also manage a couple of drivers and consult various companies in the F1 industry.

Pat Harvey, former Jetcraft Sales Director

How long have you been at Jetcraft?

I was hired as a Sales Engineer in February 2015 and was promoted to Sales Director in August 2017.

What are your responsibilities within the global Jetcraft team?

As Sales Director I am responsible for managing aircraft sales and acquisitions, as well as client management and prospecting, in the Midwest, United States territory.

Describe a typical day or week in your role.

If not on the road visiting clients or generating new business, I typically wake early in the morning and enjoy the quiet time with my two sons, Frank and Sam. During this time, I will respond to any urgent e-mails that may come in overnight from colleagues or clients from around the globe. After helping my wonderful wife get the kids ready for school, I normally position to our corporate office in downtown Minneapolis and spend most of the day supporting my clients either by phone or email, and interacting with my colleagues at the office.
