Product Overview

The Global 6000 is one of seven business jet aircraft models built by Bombardier to compete in the ultra-long range large-cabin market. Retaining the flexible wing structure of the original Global Express, the aircraft hosts one of the most comfortable rides in rough air of any purpose-built business aircraft. Compared to its predecessor, the Global XRS, it has improved acoustical insulation with cabin noise levels among the lowest in the business aircraft industry. Cabin pressurization is another strong point.

As of July 2022, 40% of the Global 6000 aircraft were purchased preowned, the other 60% new. 3.6% are for sale with the majority of those (75%) under an exclusive broker agreement. When for sale the average time on the market is 180 days.

Brief History

The Global 6000 was first announced in May 2011 and started delivering to customers in 2012. It traces its roots to the Global Express XRS, which was the third ultra long-range large-cabin business jet, produced. A total of 338 Global 6000 aircraft have been manufactured with 329 in operation, and the remainder in production or at the manufacturer.

Worldwide Appeal

There are 329 Global 6000 business jets in operation worldwide. The majority of those (293) are wholly owned with five in shared ownership and 31 in fractional ownership. 7% are currently leased. North America has the largest percentage of wholly owned Global 6000 aircraft (41%), followed by Europe (33%) and Asia (20%). Vista Jet Ltd. Of Malta owns the largest fleet of Global 6000 aircraft with 28.

How does Jetcraft use data analytics to support clients?

Data analytics supports our clients and every aspect of our transactions, from finding the right aircraft to getting the right value for it. We rely on a wide range of data from the market and aircraft customer information that we draw from industry sources and our own sales network. In the current market, it’s quite difficult to find an aircraft because of the high demand. So, we’ve built this proprietary software that scans the market daily showing all publicly available planes and off-market aircraft so that our sales team can show clients planes that other brokers just cannot see.

How does data analytics support the sales team?

The sales team needs to perform analytics on a daily basis, from building market reports to aircraft valuations. So, we’ve built this software that pulls all the data available and structures it into concise and powerful insights so that our sales team is always able to help our clients in the best way possible and move the deal forward.

In recent years, we’ve seen a great influx of new customers and new capital in business aviation. The industry is going to get more and more sophisticated meaning that brokers will need to get smarter and more analytical in their approach to how they do things and that’s exactly what our data analytics division is about. Product Overview

The Cessna Citation CJ3 is an upgraded and extended version of its predecessor the Citation CJ2. Its cruise speed outdoes the CJ2 with a significantly reduced fuel burn and uses natural laminar flow wings to further its Fuel-efficiency. These wings delay the onset of flow separation longer, which significantly improves the lift-to-drag performance. The CJ3 is permitted to operate with a single pilot under U.S. registry only.

As of December 2022, 83% of the Citation CJ3 aircraft were purchased pre-owned by their current owner, the other 17% new. 4.4% are for sale with the majority of those (67%) under an exclusive broker agreement. When for sale the average time on the market is 114 days.

Brief History

The first flight of the Citation CJ3 took place on April 17, 2003. The CJ3 received full FAA type certification in October 2004. Delivery began in December of 2004. The 100th CJ3 was delivered in November 2006. The manufacturing of the Citation CJ3 aircraft is carried out on the CJ1, CJ2, CJ3 common production line at Cessna’s manufacturing facilities in Wichita, Kansas.

There are 409 Citation CJ3 aircrafts in operation today. The majority of those (378) are wholly owned with 31 in shared ownership. 6.6% are currently leased. North America has the largest percentage of wholly owned Citation CJ3 aircraft (84%), followed by Europe (9%), and South America (5%).

How long have you been at Jetcraft?

I’ve been with the company for eight years. I spent my first three years as a Sales Engineer working in Dublin. After that, I relocated to London where I assumed the position of sales director as we set up our London HQ.

Explain your role within Jetcraft’s global network?

In the global Jetcraft team, I look after our sales initiatives here in London and Northern Europe.

Describe a typical day or week in your role.

Luckily for me, there’s no typical day or week. Usually, my day starts with coffee and then moves on to dealing with all of our current and active deals. That’s the priority. From then on, I move forward to proactive business and usually, this is done in the office or on the road.

The Falcon 2000S is a twin-engine French-made Business jet and is a slightly smaller development on the Falcon 900 trijet, with United States transcontinental coast to coast market range. The Falcon 2000S jet comes with fault monitoring and digital diagnostic systems, which help the mechanic in troubleshooting and repair work.

As of December 2022, 28% of the Falcon 2000S were purchased pre-owned by their current owners, the other 72% new. 2.1% are for sale with all of those (100%) under an exclusive broker agreement. When for sale the average time on the market is 120 days.

Brief History

In 1995, the Falcon 2000, a super mid-size business jet, entered service and is the first private jet that Dassault designed without a physical model. Its design was completely digital, created by Computer Aided Three-dimensional Interactive Application (CATIA) software. This software helped improve aerodynamic structure and simplified the airplane’s systems.

Falcon 2000S derivative was launched by Dassault in May 2011 at EBACE and received European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) certification in March 2013 and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certification in April 2013.

Jetcraft has appointed Gerald Hooper and Laurence Vidal to senior sales roles in the Americas. The executive hires position Jetcraft to meet customer demand throughout the continent and further expand the company’s on-the-ground market intelligence.

As Aircraft Sales Director, Hooper will lead Jetcraft’s business development in the US West Coast territories, including Northern California, Oregon, Washington and Idaho. Prior to joining Jetcraft, Hooper was Director of Aircraft Sales and Acquisitions at Executive Aircraft Services (EAS), working with corporate clients and aircraft worldwide.

Based in Brazil, Vidal joins Jetcraft as Sales Representative and will oversee the South American territories, including Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, Bolivia and Paraguay.  Vidal has held positions at leading OEMs, including an eight-year tenure at Bombardier Aerospace where she formulated business strategies to drive market share in the Brazilian executive aviation market.
