Product Overview
The Praetor 600 is derived from the Legacy 500 model but has more fuel capacity and more powerful engines. It features a six-foot-tall, flat-floor cabin, stone flooring and a vacuum service lavatory. The eight fully reclining club seats may be berthed into four beds, and the baggage space is the largest in the class. The Praetor 600 is the first super-midsize jet with full fly-by-wire.
High-capacity, ultra-high-speed connectivity for all aboard is available through Viasat’s Ka-band with speeds of up to 16Mbps and unlimited streaming. An optional in-flight entertainment system consists of a high-definition video system, surround sound, and multiple audio and video input options.
As of December 2020, the Praetor 600 market is comprised of all New deliveries and none are for sale in the pre-owned market.
Brief History
First announced at NBAA in October 2018, the Praetor 600 was certified on April 18, 2019 with Brazil’s Civil Aviation Authority (ANAC) and on May 20, 2019 with EASA and FAA. The Praetor 600 super-midsize business jet is a replacement for the Legacy 500 with the first aircraft being delivered in June 2019.
Worldwide Appeal
There are 21 Praetor 600 jets in operation today. All of these are wholly owned. 14.2% are currently leased. North America has the largest percentage of wholly owned Praetor 600 aircraft (60%), followed by Europe (25%).
